The Safe Haven Network

Chicago, IL—The Safe Haven Network is a referral service connecting domestic violence victims to emergency boarding programs for their pets. The Network is built on the idea that pets deserve to be safe from abuse as much as the rest of the family does. Through partnerships with local animal shelters, they find temporary “safe havens” where domestic violence victims can secure the well-being of their pets while they seek help for themselves. • The Project: An online application to make their referral program faster and more efficient
• The Award: $1,200 in creative services: (1) design three promotional postcards—one targeted towards victims, one towards advocates, and one toward shelter providers. Provide print-ready files and downloadable PDFs.
