Brooklyn, NY—The Youth Farm at High School for Public Service is an educational production farm in East Flatbush that offers New Yorkers opportunities to increase their knowledge of the food system and build high-level organic growing skills to share with their communities. The Youth Farm grows organic food and flowers on one acre for the community and beyond, and offers advanced farm training and leadership opportunities for youth and adults. Creative Service Award Details:

  • The Cause: Health & Wellness; Organic Farming; Education
  • The Project: A refreshed website update that will allow them to better communicate with their constituents and provide a place to document their activities and influence funders
  • The Award: $3,800 in creative services: (1) provide consultation on new WordPress website theme and domain name; (2) implement/customize theme and upload initial content; and (3) provide user training on how to manage site.
